Novak Djokovic in Monte Carlo 2009

The Monte Carlo Masters is the next important tournament in the ATP schedule for this season. Novak Djokovic and the rest of the tennis stars traveled to Monte Carlo for a full week of outdoor clay court tennis. The Serbian started his run in the Monaco Masters today in the 2nd round of the tournament.
Novak defeated the Spanish qualifier Oscar Hernandez in straight sets, 6-1 6-2. Djokovic confirmed later at the press conference that he accommodated withthe Monte Carlo clay better as expected and that he looks forward to play in the final stages of the tournament.
Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer will enter the competition today in the 2nd round of the Monte Carlo Masters. Andy Murray played today also and advanced to the third round after a straight sets win over Romanian, Victor Hanescu.
