Novak Djokovic won his first Grand Slam
Djokovic is new champion of Australian Open!
Novak Djokovic claimed Australian Open man’s crown with a four set win over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Great final lasted 3 hours and six minutes. Djokovic won with 3:1 (4:6; 6:4; 6:3; 7:6 (7:2)). Both player started very nervously, Tsonga was very persisting especially in first set. He won first set after Djokovic’s break point with 4:6. But he wasn’t good enough for third player in the world Novak Djokovic.
Tsonga started second set very aggressive, but Nole held and concentrated to the game - he won second set with 6:4. Third set was little easier for Djokovic 6:3. Tsonga recovered in fourth set and gave his best. Tsonga had a break point at 5:5 but Djokovic held and set went to a tie-break. Powerful game and accurate shots of Novak Djokovic won the tie-break with 7-2 and the match with 3-1. VICTORY!
