Novak Djokovic in Dubai
Novak Djokovic started The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships
After a two weeks of relaxing and preparing in Monte Carlo, Novak Djokovic played first round match today on “The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships“. His opponent in Dubai was Croatian Marin Cilic (19 years old). Match was over after 1 hour and 18 minutes 6:4; 6:3 for Djokovic. Todays match was only preparing for tomorrow when Djokovic will play vs Fabris Santoro (world No. 47). Their last game was in 2007 - Santoro won 2:0.
The biggest surprise on “The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships“ was Andy Murray who won Roger Federer in first round 6-7 (6), 6-3, 6-4.
“He’s the best player in the world, there’s no question,” Murray said. “The most important thing is to believe that you can win the match.”
