World No.1 Roger Federer was defeated on day 12 at Melbourne park by Novak Djokovic. After 2 hours and 48 minutes Nole won with all 3 sets 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5). Very aggressive and determined game of Djokovic decided the match.
Djokovic next rival is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who shocked Rafael Nadal on day 11. Final will be played on day 14 (Sunday).

No.3 seed Novak Djokovic overcomed Italian tennis player Simone Bolelli with 3:0 (6:1, 6:2, 6:2). Nole played really good but few very big mistakes made by Bolelly helped him to triumph easily . Match was finished after 93 minutes of playing.
On the third round of Australian Open 2008 Djokovic will play vs world No.62 Sam Querrey from United States. They never had chance to play together before.

After ending the match vs Benjamin Becker in his first match at Australian Open, Novak Djokovic was asked to show his well known imitation of Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova. Djokovic primarly didnn’t agreed, he said that he don’t want to offend nobody. Lastly he agreed on demand of the organizer. It is well know that Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova are good friends, and that she don’t mind at all his mimics. Some magazines even represented them as couple in love with their photos together made on some party. True is that Novak Djokovic has girlfriend for a long time but she is not Sharapova, but one Serbian girl.

Representatives of Serbia at 20th Hopman Cup in Perth, Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic didn’t took the trophy. Jankovic still had problems with her leg, so she handed win to Serena Williams. Djokovic had problems with his shoulder but he won game vs Mardy Fish after two hours and 27 minutes 6:2, 7:6(4), 6:7(4). Serena Williams and Mardy Fish outplayed Djokovic and Jankvic after 83 minutes of passionate fight. Novak Djokovic literally did everything to exempt his partner Jankovic but USA representatives were better and won in two sets 7:6(5), 6:2.
After the game Serena Williams thanked to her team and family and said that she is very happy because she had chance to play against Novak Djokovic and that that was a pleasure for her.
